Swarovski Crystallized Store
Environmental Design
This Swarovski is a producer of crystal, headquartered in Wattens, Austria it has been a family-owned business since it was founded in 1895. We worked with Swarovski to create a jewellery concept store – 'Crystallized', which contained all the elements a user needed to create their own jewellery. With over 4000 SKUs, organisation was key.

My role
Visual Designer
Bringing order to complexity
In order to organise thousands of products, I devised a concept to arrange the crystal elements in a matrix, with colour variants running along the length of the store, and product SKUs running vertically. Each product is displayed on the front of a small drawer, backlit by LEDs to show off the crystals’ colour.
The concept was to display the crystal elements with as much light as possible. Products were mounted in a display case on the front of each drawer, lit by recessed LEDs. This allowed customers to survey the product range without opening the drawers and find the crystal element they were looking for.
