Concert for Europe
Graphic Design
Programme design for a 'Concert for Europe' held at St John's Smith Square, London on 29th March 2019. The design features a chord made up of the notes G, B and E – representing the words 'Great', 'Britain' and 'Europe' respectively. Only the E note is tied over the bar line, representing Europe's endurance into a new era post-Brexit. This musical rebus was designed an in-joke for an audience of musicians. The typographic styling borrows from traditional music manuscript books and sheet music.
